Q #435 - At an incident, a casualty isn't breathing. What should you do while helping them to start breathing again?
It's important to ensure that the airways are clear before you start mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Gently tilt their head back and use your finger to check for and remove any obvious obstruction in the mouth.
Put their arms across their chest
Shake them firmly
Roll them onto their side
Tilt their head back gently
